Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Solid Connectivity SRL handles data in our mobile applications, our connected products and on this website. Our apps are designed to work without accounts and to collect as little as possible.

What our apps collect
Our apps have no user accounts, no advertising and no analytics. We do not track you, build a profile, or use your data for marketing.
In normal use, the only information that reaches our servers is:
- Your device’s serial number, sent when the app fetches a configuration for your installation or checks for a firmware update. It identifies the hardware, not you.
- The configuration you select, so we can send the matching file to your device.
- Standard server logs, which include your IP address, kept briefly for security and troubleshooting.
Everything else stays on your phone, including the names, colours and settings you create.
Information you choose to send us
Some features only work if you send us something, and they are always started by you:
- Requesting support or a new configuration. The form optionally asks for your name, email address and phone number so that we can reply. You can leave these blank and still submit a request; we use them only to respond to you.
- Reporting a problem. This sends a technical snapshot of the device’s state and the app version, so that we can diagnose the fault.
- Recording data from your installation. Where a product supports it, the app can record technical signals from the equipment it is connected to and send them to us, so that we can build and verify a configuration for it. These recordings describe the equipment, not you.
If you would rather not send any of this, simply do not use those features — the app works normally without them.
Permissions
Our apps use Bluetooth to communicate with your device, and the camera if you scan a code on the unit. Depending on your phone and its operating system version, you may also be asked for a nearby-devices or location permission; this is how phones handle Bluetooth scanning. We do not collect or transmit your location, and photos are never stored or uploaded — the camera is used only to read the code.
Bluetooth pairing itself is handled by your phone’s operating system and is not sent to us.
This website
We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security purposes.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data and never share it with advertisers. We keep what you send us only as long as it is useful for the purpose you sent it for — support correspondence while your request is open, technical logs and recordings while the related configuration is being built and maintained. If you download an app from the App Store or Google Play, Apple and Google collect their own standard store metrics under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you, and you may object to how we use it or ask us to transfer it elsewhere. Email tech@solidconnectivity.com and we will act on it. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
Our products are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make a significant change to this policy we will tell you in the app or on this website.
